The Phantom of the Opera icons and wallpapers  
A batch of The Phantom of the Opera icontest entries for [info]poto_stillness. All are from the movie with Emmy Rossum and Gerard Butler, and I've included two wallpapers as well because I just couldn't resist. ;-)

As always, never alter my graphics, comment, credit, and enjoy! (and if I catch you stealing, I'll sick the Opera Ghost on you!!)

Please, if you take anything, be so kind as to take note of the numbers of the icon(s) you're saving, since I am always experimenting with my styles and I would like to know what people like best. (This helps me so I can make more!) The numbers are above the icons.

The wallpapers are all uploaded to my deviantART account. I've started doing my wallpapers there rather than Photobucket because they allow larger resolutions for wallpapers, and I think it uploads faster. ;-)

I didn't make it in time to vote in the last [info]poto_stillness icontest, but I wanted to check out your POTO icons.

I like 13 and 14 especially. Not taking any right now, though.

May I ask where you got your scribble textures, and what fonts you used on numbers 9, 10, 15, 17, 18, and the first wallpaper? I know that's a lot, but they're really striking.

Oh, of course! Let me see...the scribbles were brought to my attention by a friend and are made by [info]lifeisdolce, and the fonts are as follows:

9 -- 28 Days Later

10 -- Velvet and the tiny text is Times New Yorker

15 & 17 -- Felix Titling

18 -- the tiny text is Felix Titling again, and the gothic font is XiBeronne.

There! I think that's all...;-)

I know I'm commenting to a post that month's old, but I'd just like to say that since I'd gotten my new widescreen laptop I've been dying to find some new wallpapers for it and I've finally found some!! So I'm taking the second wallpaper. And thanks so much for making widescreen wallpapers!!

Oh, I don't mind at all about it being an old post! :-D I'm happy to see my older work still appreciated, heheh. ;-D

I've made a ton of wallpapers that I haven't posted here on LJ yet at my deviantART account (linked on my sidebar). I haven't made too many widescreens, but a lot of what I've done has a lot of extra black space around it. Setting the wallpaper on center might still work out nicely, you know what I mean? :-)
